Ostia Antica is one of the best preserved Roman towns, few miles away from Rome, originally the harbour city of Rome. This tour is a time machine, and you will walk in a real ancient city.

In the late 16th century, the city of Rome was shocked by the artistic innovations introduced by Caravaggio.
His art and his personality were extraordinary and inseparable. He had a short and glorious career that was cut too short.
The streets and churches of Rome became a sort of museum for Caravaggio’s work. Thanks to historical documents, we can trace Caravaggio’s daily life, including his interactions with patrons, discussions with competitors, and changing opinions on his masterpieces.

This tour is a walk through the streets of the Campo Marzio neighborhood where Caravaggio lived and worked in Rome, and the churches decorated with some of his masterpieces.
We will discuss the modernity of Caravaggio’s paintings, the innovations he introduced in the art of his time, and his unique personality.
We will explore his brilliant career, as well as his troubled life.
This tour is about life, death, art, passions and love.
1-5 people: €250 – entrance tickets included
6-10 people: €300
Each extra hour (or fraction) exceeding 3 hours: €60

Non refundable deposit: although I do not request full payment of the tours and experiences until the day of your tour, I request a deposit which contains prepaid reservations which are NOT refundable to ensure your tour.
I require from 50% to 70% deposit (depending by the tour) to cover prepayment of reservations and entrance tickets in advance. Any prepaid deposit is NOT refundable as I am not able to receive a refund.
