Only 25 km (16 mi) away from Rome, a city buried for centuries has been fully excavated and is ready to be visited. Ostia was Rome’s first colony and harbor town, and it quickly became essential for Rome’s business and military strategy.

This tour takes you all around the ancient harbor city of Ostia, for a full immersion in the daily life of this important city.
You will visit ancient apartments in the working-class district, beautiful houses, fast foods, spas (baths), stores, a theater, laundries, bakeries, the market, and temples. You will see stunning mosaics and marble floors, wall paintings, statues, and this town is very well-preserved.
By walking among the splendid ruins, you can understand how an ancient city was developed and how Roman life was organized.
This tour is a unique opportunity to experience an authentic Roman city and is definitely an enriching experience.

Non refundable deposit: although I do not request full payment of the tours and experiences until the day of your tour, I request a deposit which contains prepaid reservations which are NOT refundable to ensure your tour.
I require from 50% to 70% deposit (depending by the tour) to cover prepayment of reservations and entrance tickets in advance. Any prepaid deposit is NOT refundable as I am not able to receive a refund.
The tour can NOT be rescheduled after the entrance tickets have been reserved for you.
